What happens after I sign up?
After you sign up for one of our plans our designer will be in touch to guide you through the process. We will help you gather the text and images for your website. You can choose from one of our many designs templates and then we will build your website for you and put it live on a domain name of your choice.
What designs are available?
We have dozens of professional design templates available. After you sign up we will send you our catalog to browse and choose from. Remember, the design templates are just a starting point for the look and feel of your website. We will customise it with your content and images to give you a truly unique custom website.
How long will my website take to build?
Your website will generally take 1 to 3 weeks to build and set live, depending on how quickly you can gather the content and info we need. We’ll guide you though each step to make it as quick and easy as possible.
Will you really design & build my website with no setup fee? What's the catch?
Yes we really will design and build you a website with no upfront cost, just one affordable monthly price. There is no catch! There is no minimum contract and you can cancel at any time.
We can offer this as we use standard design templates and an efficient onboarding process. Once you are up and running we hope you will be very happy with our service and stay with us for years to come…a win-win for you and us!
Can you help me write content for my website?
Yes of course, we will guide you on what content works best and how to write it in your own authentic tone of voice. We will also proofread and do some light editing if needed to make sure the content you provide fits your website well.
We also provide a copywriting service if you need us to fully write your website content for you. Please contact us for custom quote for this.
Can I use my own photos on the website?
Yes, we highly recommend you use your own photos on your website to give it an authentic look and feel, especially photos of you and your premises (if you have one). Professional photos are great if you have them, but are not necessary. We’ll guide you through how to take great quality photos with just your smartphone (it’s all about lighting!).
If additional photos are needed we will source professional, fully licensed, royalty free stock photos that fit your site’s design.
Can I update my website content myself?
Yes, you can update your website text yourself. We will provide you with a login and easy to follow instructions. You don’t need any technical knowledge, it’s as easy as updating a document on your computer.
If you would prefer not to do any updates yourself, we can handle it all for you on our Plus plan, where we include unlimited website updates for a flat monthly fee.
Image updates are a bit different as new images need to be formatted correctly to fit your website design. If you need to update an image on your site just submit a support request to [email protected].
Can I add extra pages to my website?
In our free setup offer, we include a single page website layout with your content arranged into sections. This layout is simple and effective and we find is the easiest for visitors to use and navigate. You can go with our recommended sections or add as many additional sections as you need during the initial setup.
We can of course add additional pages if you need them, i.e. separate pages for a particular offer or service. Additional pages can be added during the initial setup or later. Please contact us to discuss your needs and we can provide a custom quote.
N.B. additional pages have an initial setup fee, but the standard monthly fee for your plan will remain the same.
Can I run a blog or post articles on my website?
Yes, websites on our Pro & Plus plans include an optional blog where you can post info or articles on any topic you like.
Who owns the domain names you set up?
You do. We will register a domain on your behalf, but you will always be the registered owner. If you decide to leave our service in future you can transfer the domain to your own domain registrar.
I already have my own domain. Can I use that?
Yes of course. If you already have your domain name it can easily be connected to your new website on our servers.
I already have a website. Can I transfer it to your service?
If you already have a website we can transfer the content from it into one of our design templates to create your new website.
Can I connect my existing calendar / email signup form / online course platform / other 3rd party service to my website?
Yes, if the 3rd party service you use is designed to be embedded in a webpage then we can connect it to your website. Please contact us to let us know what service you want to connect and we will confirm.
Can I sell products on my website?
Yes, you can sell products on your website with our Ecommerce Add-On. This will allow you to sell physical products or virtual/downloadable products. Please contact us to discuss your needs and we can provide you with a custom quote.
What are the processing fees for online payments?
We use Stripe as our online payment processor. Stripe processing fees vary by country, and start from 1.5% + €0.25 for European cards or 2.9% + 30¢ for US cards. More details can be found at https://stripe.com/pricing.
We do not add any additional fees on top of the Stripe fees.
Is my website HIPAA compliant?
If you are in the US and are categorised as a Healthcare Provider then any systems that collect or transmit patient’s Protected Health Information (PHI) must comply with HIPAA standards, and you must have a signed Business Associate Agreement with all 3rd party providers to confirm they comply with HIPAA standards too.
All our websites are fully secure & encrypted but are not HIPAA compliant out of the box due to the signed Business Associate Agreement requirement.
We do provide HIPAA Compliance as an add-on service where we sign a Business Associate Agreement with you and ensure all Protected Health Information is handled in a HIPAA compliant way. Please contact us for more info.
